Events & Activities

Big River Scoop Ice Cream partners with organizations bringing ice cream to the community through appearances at area festivals and events. The organizations, such as the Bemidji Marching Band Boosters and Bemidji Youth Clay Target Association, provide volunteer staff to help scoop and serve at events like Art in the Park and the Dragon Boat Festival. In return, Big River Scoop makes a financial contribution to the organization.

Flavor of the Month

Big River Scoop Ice Cream's "Flavor of the Month" program features a community organization in the area that and an ice cream flavor. A donation to the organization is determined based on the total sales of the featured flavor at the end of the Month. The organization can use its communications with its members, supporters and financial contributors to help encourage sales of the flavor.
